Pathologic Persitaltic Wave in the Gastric Antrum (due to Infiltration of a Diffuse Gastric Cancer)

It is important to follow the peristaltic wave as it travels through the antrum. If some part of the antral wall seems stiff and does not allow the wave to go through there is an indication of infiltation of some kind, most usual a diffuse cancer.
