Changes in Incidence of Gastrointestinal Cancers in Finland 1955 - 1994
This charts shows the incidence ( /1.000.000) for usual gastrointestinal cancerns in Finland during from 1955 to 1994. Stomach cancer is rapidly going down, and so does oesophageal cancer. The incidence of colon and rectal cancer is rising.
The changes in incidence i strikingly similar for males and females. The incidence numbers in these charts are adjusted for age to the world standard population.
These charts are based on data from the Finnish Cancer Registry.
